The search for the right skin care regimen.

In the oversaturated market of beauty products, it's hard to find ones that are quality and that achieve real results. There are numerous factors that come into play and everyone has there own opinion on what works best. There are certain products and brands, over the years, to which I have become devoted. One of these brands in particular has revolutionized my beauty regimen and produced consistent results, all for a fair price. 

A friend of mine, along with her husband, designs and hand crafts her own line of beauty products for her company, Tree Traveler. From lip balms, hand soaps, moisturizers, scrubs, facial masques, and assorted elixirs, her products are plant-based and all natural. 

My introduction to Tree Traveler started with their "Lube for your Yapper". With an assortment of scents and tints, I quickly became addicted. It was a true honor when, in December of 2014, Tree Traveler designed a unique lip tint for my walk down the aisle, Lauren's Orchid. With mango and shea butters, almond and olive oil, and beeswax, this lip tint boasts a dark wine color offering a sultry look. 

Having always dealt with oily skin, I was an avid user of a variety of astringents. Many of my facial products previously consisted of anything containing alcohol (you're cringing, I know). My medicine cabinet was crammed with products that would dry out my skin and any blemishes. Using any sort of oil on my skin was inconceivable.

My friend at Tree Traveler mentioned that melaleuca oil was beneficial for quickly healing blemishes. With a bit of skepticism, I began using the Blemish Buster. What a wonderful surprise it was when I realized how fantastic the buster worked. To this day, when I'm dealing with blemishes, the Blemish Buster is my go to! 

Now at that time, I still hesitated when putting much else on my face. As many of you already know, we're not getting any younger. Maintaining young and healthy skin isn't easy. It's all about keeping the skin moisturized, at least that's what they say. 

I had never used a moisturizer on my face. Then, for my birthday one year, I received an unexpected gift from my sister, the Avery Rose Skin Treatment. The treatment is comprised of whipped coconut oil, red rose buds, wildflower honey, Himalayan pink salt, and essential oils of frankincense and myrrh. It sounds somewhat silly but that simple gift really has kept on giving. I absolutely love this stuff. I apply a mild sampling of the treatment first thing each morning and every night before bed.

For me, the search for the right skin care regimen is finally over. My skin has never felt healthier and any breakouts have completely subsided. It's amazing what quality beauty products can do and I'm confident that Tree Traveler products can work wonders for you too!
